Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Revit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP design and documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Modeling and Documentation:
Develop detailed 3D models using Revit software for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Create and manage project documentation, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
Ensure models are accurate, consistent, and compliant with project standards and requirements.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to integrate and coordinate designs.
Conduct clash detection and resolution to ensure seamless integration of various building systems.
Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and address any issues or concerns.
BIM Management:
Maintain and manage Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices.
Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM libraries and templates.
Technical Support and Training:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Revit-related issues.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for team members to enhance their Revit skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest Revit software features, industry trends, and advancements.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Revit software in the AEC industry.
Proven track record of working on complex projects involving multiple disciplines.
Skills:
Proficiency in Revit software and BIM workflows.
Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and MEP design principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Revit or BIM management.
Experience with other design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Dynamo.
Familiarity with construction processes and site coordination.,
