Strategy
• The PMO Workstream lead reports directly to the Head, GCFO Change PMO with a dotted line to Head LRR Delivery and Change Champion Aspire. Their primary responsibility is to establish control across the Regulatory Reporting & Country Journey and Infrastructure Journey and maintain the governance framework and strategy for the robust and efficient management of strategic investments in compliance with bank standards and aligned to industry best practices.
• This senior leader will engage and influence key stakeholders and teams globally, encompassing all aspects of reporting, business case modelling and advisory, performance analytics, finance applications recharges, ledger and expense management to support the design and delivery of transformational change initiatives across the organisation.
• This role requires senior leadership experience in managing and governing large-scale, global initiatives within the financial services industry, navigating and influencing senior leaders, and influencing numerous global teams with a healthy exposure to country regulatory reporting initiatives (LRR) and a strong knowledge of finance systems landscape and associated data models.

Business & Processes
• Business case modelling and strategic planning and advisory services for new pieces of work/plans and ideas for the function
• Ensure effective levels of control and documentation for initiatives and delivery plans
• Engage Country Finance teams and understand budget requirements across regions

People and Talent
• Workforce management of resources/allocations/skill-base for existing pool of resources, including Business Analysts, Project Managers and Programme Managers across onshore and offshore locations.
• Establish a PMO service function leveraging RF PMOs supporting the book of work from Bangalore.
• Coach & mentor the team to enable them to operate as per the new PMO standards
• Develop and retain talent in the offshore PMO team to maintain continuity as well as quality on PMO support.

Risk Management
• Manage Audit and Quality Assurance reviews across the Journeys
• Monitor Journey Level Risk and Issues Registers.
• Ensure consistent Risk and Issue management across the Journeys.

Governance
• Strong governance, robust documentation and controls aligned to Ways of Working (WOW) standards.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the PMO Refinement Forum team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Role Specific Technical Competencies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills covering both senior and operational levels
• Strong knowledge of Finance processes and accounting related principles in the Banking space
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Track record of working in a very organized way, multi-tasking, prioritising, managing data, and setting and achieving deadlines (both short and long term)
• Capacity to think creatively and laterally; excellent reasoning skills and the ability to make sound judgments
• Ability to work within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment
• Over 10 years relevant experience in a multi-regional Investment Banking environment
• Thorough understanding of Project delivery methodologies – Agile, SDLC, Prince
• Ability to demonstrate the Bank's values in achieving objectives

• Thorough understanding of the Project Lifecycle.
