Introduction:
The main function of the role is to act as a senior developer in the On demand pricing team in Chennai. The successful candidate will need to acquire a broad understanding of all aspects of the pricing stack and be confident and able to work independently and autonomously on business critical issues.
What will you be doing
Key specific accountabilities.
Gather requirements, design, develop and maintain Java Server components for risking and pricing.
Help out with on-boarding risk calculation on strategic analytics engine platform
Work on Dev-Ops pipe line across Securtized Products
What we re looking for:
Excellent work attitude, with a focus on detail and delivery of the highest quality product under tight time pressure
Skills that will help you in the role:
Expert in C#, WPF, WCF, Windows Application development
Strong knowledge of WEB API, DotNetCore,
Hands on experience on AngularJS, JQuery and UI side frameworks
Experience with unit testing/test driven development/continuous integration
Experience with relation database technology using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle
Good understanding of devops pipeline like GIT, Teamcity, Nexus
Exposure and understanding of cloud platform
Ability to communicate at all levels and work independently
Fluent written and spoken English
Knowledge of messaging technologies/frameworks like EMS/Solace/RV
Previous experience in investment banking or in the financial industry
Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly
Ability to work well in a team environment
Highly motivated and self-driven
Attention to details
Experience working with Securitized Products business or mortgages domain
Experience in a front office facing environment; dealing with traders & quantitative analysts
Experience working in an Agile environment
Familiarity with xml
