About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, committed Rheumatologist to join our dynamic, progressive, and multidisciplinary department at Rotorua and Taupo Hospitals.

Rheumatologist specialist functions include:

Diagnosis and management of all rheumatology conditions,
Inpatient consults and outpatient rheumatology care,
Participation in regional rheumatology networks to enhance patient care,
Active involvement in delivering chronic pain and fracture liaison services in Rotorua and Taupo.

About you

Strong team player with a professional, energetic, and driven approach to work.
Curious mind, self-motivated, and an active participant in ongoing improvement.
Must be eligible for Specialist Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
An interest in further developing local specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population.
Actively participate in the education and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical, nursing, and allied health staff.
