.Monks India is looking for a Rich Media Developer to safeguard and monitor the smooth performance of our development projects, people, and processes. In this specialized position, you’ll play a key role in a specialist team that is producing fantastic rich media ads for one of our biggest global clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Ad Creation & Development: Utilize your expertise to design and develop compelling display ads for various platforms.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Leverage your understanding of motion graphic design and animation to enhance ad effectiveness.
• Technical Proficiency: Use your coding skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including the GSAP library) to ensure smooth ad functionality.
• Platform Adaptability: Adapt and learn technical specifications for diverse platforms such as Google Studio, DV360, and Adform.
• Software Skills: Bring your experience with Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere to create visually striking advertisements.
• Creative Excellence: Work within creative and technical constraints to deliver top-tier ads, ensuring they meet low file size requirements while maintaining quality.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to meet project deadlines.
• Focus & Passion: Maintain focus and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment. Show enthusiasm for learning new skills and exploring new media formats.
• Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail in visual design.
Desirable Skills
• An interest in creative automation technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of expressions in After Effects.
• Experience with DCO productions including setting up dynamic templates and managing dynamic input sheets.
Development Skills (in Order Of Importance)
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Solid experience using JS Frameworks (jQuery, Greensock, etc.).
• Familiarity developing with CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS, etc.)
• Besides proficiency in programming, practical experience with developing interactive banners and rich media ads is a must.
• A deep understanding of ad-serving platforms such as DV360, FlashTalking is part and parcel but can be learnt on the job
• While DoubleClick certifications aren’t essential to your application, it is considered awesome and is something that’ll be required at a later point
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• Deep understanding of cross-browser issues and code solutions
• Understanding of client-side performance optimization
• Mastery of version control systems and code repositories (SVN/GitHub etc.)
Design And Animation Skills (in Order Of Importance)
• Proficiency with Figma & Adobe Creative Suite
• You’re able to work from a given design and translate it ‘pixel perfect’ to a full-fledged HTML execution
• Some experience in timeline based animation tools such as After Effects or Adobe Animate (formerly Flash, if you’re oldschool) is a big plus
• Excellent typographic skills
Requirements
• Comfortable wearing different hats, you have experience in one or more of the following roles: rich media developer, front end software engineer, product manager
• Working as part of an international operation, you need to have good English communication skills, as well as have good communication knowledge of rich media.
