The opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team within Zurich Resilience Solutions as a Risk and Resilience Consultant. Our team are multi-disciplined risk professionals and regarded as “thought leaders” within our customer base. As a consultancy we pride ourselves on understanding what drives an organisation and make sense of the multi-dimensional risks they face, we aim to build long lasting relationships and provide a level of excellence we think sets us apart. We support our Zurich Municipal customers, encompassing Public Sector, Housing, Education, Charitable and Social Organisations and our wider Commercial customers, in a range of enterprise-wide risk activities in order to improve resilience, longevity and innovation.

This is an ideal role for an experienced risk management professional with a broad range of skills who is looking for a new and exciting challenge. In this role the successful candidate will enjoy a varied, challenging and diverse portfolio of work across all areas of the enterprise risk management framework and supporting resiliency and business continuity. You will have a great deal of autonomy in the role and have access to a multi skilled support network within an experienced and high performing team.

What will you be doing
• Undertaking strategic risk consultancy assignments including report writing and presentations across a range of projects including: -
• Risk identification and profiling;
• Risk culture and maturity evaluations;
• Development and embedding of risk frameworks;
• Sustainability and climate change analysis;
• Business resiliency
• Developing a network of internal and external contacts to build and deliver a pipeline of projects
• Enhance our consultancy offering developing new services, approaches and toolkits
• Delivering consulting revenue to contribute towards overarching practice goals and outcomes
• Promote risk management best practice and the Risk Team capability through internal and external speaking engagements, thought leadership and supporting Zurich media channels

What are we looking for?
• A track record of establishing and delivering Enterprise Risk Management and/or Business Continuity solutions or programmes of work;
• Experience of working in/with Public Sector, Housing, Education, Charitable and Social Organisations would be desirable
• A proven ability and confidence to engage and communicate at Senior Leadership levels to clearly promote and articulate the benefits of embedding risk management;
• An enquiring mind - able to probe systematically and logically to establish key organisational risk drivers and relevant information;
• People centric – having an ability to communicate at all levels and build strong and sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders;
• Posses a creative mind-set with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zones;
• A dedicated team player with a “can-do” mentality, attitude and approach to their diverse work portfolio
• A professional certification from bodies such as the IRM, BCI will be advantageous.
