We’ll look to you to drive the implementation of the risk framework and policy compliance and changes, converting these into strategies and plans

We're offering this role at vice president level and, preferably, you'll be working a flexible UK shift, depending on our work requirements
What you'll do
You’ll have responsibility for supporting management in their identification and assessment of material risks and in determining their position in relation to agreed appetites.
On top of this, you’ll be testing across India and the UK and supporting a culture of pre-emptive risk management and continuous improvement, alongside attaining operational risk objectives.
Your top priorities will include:
Coaching and supporting colleagues across our bank to improve our understanding and to embed a culture of intelligent risk-taking
Analysing risk reporting and metrics that're used to inform our decision-making
Educating teams on the operational risk framework and our conduct risk obligations, supporting our business in operating and embedding them
Helping and regularly engaging with relevant stakeholders, including the second and third line of defence and risk teams
Ensuring internal and external stakeholder satisfaction by delivering risk and control actions in a timely manner
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need at least eight years' experience and an understanding of people management, as you'll need to manage a team of four team members.
Furthermore, you’ll bring:
Knowledge of risk assessments and scenario analysis methodologies
Significant business and operational experience
Risk and controls assessment and testing experience
