Data Services Senior Analyst

This position will help to ensure data sourced and provisioned by Data Services meets all required data quality standards. The Data Services analyst will assess, evaluate, and analyze data challenges and provide recommendations on their resolution. They will track the identified resolution until closure and provide regular updates to Senior Management. They will collaborate with an array of teams and groups, developing subject matter expertise and knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Responsibilities:
• Perform data quality analysis and identify data challenges
• Lead measurement and engagement improvement initiatives
• Drive data quality resolution
• Lead data improvement initiatives
• Work with data quality partners and Technology teams to identify and implement data quality tools. Identify critical data elements, data flows, thresholds, and other business requirements.
• Optimize metrics reporting process
• Lead project management activities
• Support senior management strategic vision
• Mentors lower-level analysts.
• Influences decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization.
• Applies in-depth understanding and knowledge of how business integrates within the sub function; as well as coordinates and contributes to the objectives of the function and overall business.
• Contributes to the development of new techniques and processes and for the aligned business.
• Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area.
• Responsible for own work to support business teams in assigned area.
• Defines strategies to drive data quality measurement, produce data quality dashboards and reports, and implement data quality strategies to effectively govern data and improve data quality.
• Responsible for the reviewing, analyzing and dispositioning of the results of those measurements as well as providing detail and summary reporting of the same.
• Accountable for understanding and documenting systems, data flows and data quality rules driven from the profiling and assessments of critical data.
• Perform other job duties and functions as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Issue or change management experience
• Strong functional knowledge of Data reconciliation and root causing of issues.
• Knowledge of Tools like PowerBI or Knime will be added advantage.

Role/ Job Title: Risk Manager – Credit Cards

Function/ Department: Retail Business Risk

Job Purpose:

The role entails the responsibility of assessing, managing, and reporting risks for the Corporate Credit Card vertical for IDFC FIRST Bank. Candidate shall be responsible for end-to-end drafting of credit policies and implementing strategies in BRE along with stakeholder management.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Skills includes prior work experience in Commercial / Corporate Credit Card Underwriting with sound understanding of Financial Statements and Reports, Cash Flow, Balance Sheets, Financial Ratios, Type of Liabilities (Individual, Joint, Several) etc.
• Ensure effective coverage of risk and that the asset portfolio is in line with desired risk level. It includes preparing Risk assurance reports, summaries for senior management to develop strategies aligning to the larger objectives of the bank.
• Maintain, and continuously improve the risk management strategy and frameworks for IDFC First Bank.
• Work with Business, Credit, Group Risk Team to formulate policy constructs, drive improvements and enhancements based on experience and assessments performed.
• Ensure documentation of key risk indicators and controls for any critical process or key product launch.
• Support the review and assessment of the asset portfolio and early warning signal effectiveness to ensure that portfolio risk is minimized.
• Ensure that portfolio risk reports and dashboards are generated, disseminated and followed-up appropriately in adherence to defined procedures and quality standards.
• Assist in performing a periodical review of the bank’s products and processes and provide risk mitigation controls and training to business to facilitate optimum protection of IDFC's business interests.

Education Qualification:

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)

Post-graduation: MBA / PGDM

Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
