Job Summary
The Team Leader for the OR has service lines of responsibility regarding patient care utilizing the nursing process. The Team Lead will demonstrate expertise as a clinician and coordinator of service lines assigned. The position is responsible 24/7 for the coordination and serving as a resource in the service lines and designating a replacement Team Lead in their absence. The position coordinates the nursing and CST/ST activities and serves as liaison as applicable with physicians, anesthesia, clinics, and staff. Maintains clinical operations, equipment, instruments, supplies, repairs, regulatory readiness, audits, training and other duties assigned under the direction of Nurse Manager and Director. Staffing (direct engagement in the OR rooms) to administrative duties is approximated at 80/20.
