Responsibilities:
• On-Time and Safe Delivery: Utilize delivery vehicles with prudence and care, complying with traffic laws and regulations to ensure that products are delivered on schedule while prioritizing safety at all times.
• Offering courteous and proficient service during deliveries to Costco members is imperative. Handle customer inquiries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner, fostering a positive interaction with your business.
• Take measures to ensure the secure handling and safe transportation of all merchandise during loading and unloading.
• Consistently successful delivery performance requires optimal route planning, taking advantage of GPS systems and structured software for optimal performance. Maximize productivity and minimize fuel expenses by optimizing your delivery routes.
• It is essential to conduct routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, including but not limited to checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition. Notify management of any maintenance difficulties or issues that require resolution.
• In order to maintain compliance, it is necessary to follow company policies and procedures with regards to delivery operations. This involves safety protocols, vehicle maintenance guidelines, and delivery schedules. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements is critical.
Qualifications:
• Possessing a driver's license that is valid and free from blemishes.
• Individuals who possess prior experience in delivery driving or a similar profession are sought after.
• Notable skills in providing excellent customer service in a welcoming and polished manner.
• Being skilled in lifting massive items and performing arduous undertakings associated with the transfer of goods.
• Exhibiting exceptional detail-orientedness and excellent organizational competencies.
• The selected candidate must have an open schedule to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• An added bonus is having experience with GPS navigation systems and software for route planning.
• A pronounced dedication towards safety and observance of traffic laws and regulations.
