What Will You Do? | Ka aha koe?
Key responsibilities will include:
Developing, managing and monitoring roading contracts and ensuring contract performance meets expectations.
Managing the development of the annual and monthly works programmes for maintenance and capital projects.
Providing technical expertise and supporting decision-making with cost-effective solutions.
Ensuring up-to-date asset data management to support long-term planning.
Leading emergency responses to weather-related events and ensuring road safety.
Preparing budgets, reports, and ensuring procurement meets compliance standards.
Promoting a zero-harm safety culture and strong environmental practices.
Who Are You? | Ko wai koe?
We are looking for someone with:
Essential:
Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years’ roading network management experience.
Proven experience managing civil construction contracts and risk.
Skilled in systems like TIO, Transport Insights, RAMM and Excel.
Excellent communication and customer service focus.
Strong time management and planning capabilities.
Desirable:
Experience in Local Government or RCA environments.
Knowledge of NZTA policies.
Project management credentials.
