Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Robotics Trainer to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering a love for robotics and technology among young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics, programming, and education, with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers.
Responsibilities:
1 Develop and deliver engaging robotics and coding curriculum for students aged 6-16, including but not limited to Lego Robotics, Arduino Robotics, Python coding, and Artificial Intelligence.
2. Conduct hands-on workshops, classes, and projects to teach robotics concepts, programming languages, and problem-solving skills.
3. Provide guidance and mentorship to students participating in robotics competitions such as WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD, FIRST Lego League, and others.
4. Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and track performance to ensure continuous improvement.
5. Collaborate with the management team to design new courses, update existing curriculum, and incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies.
6. Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract new students and promote the center's robotics programs.
7. Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven experience in teaching robotics, coding, or STEM-related subjects to children and teenagers.
3. Strong knowledge of robotics platforms such as Lego Mindstorms, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc., and programming languages like Python, Scratch, C/C++.
4. Experience with robotics competitions (e.g., WORLD ROBOT OLYMPIAD, FIRST Lego League) is highly desirable.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young learners.
6. Passion for education, technology, and fostering creativity and critical thinking in students.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
8. Flexibility to work on weekends or evenings as needed for workshops, events, and competitions.
