Job Description
Join the iconic Fairmont family and become part of a team that delivers unforgettable hospitality. As a Room Attendant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and luxurious experience for our guests. Your attention to detail, passion for service, and commitment to excellence will help maintain the world-class standards Fairmont is known for.
Position Type: Seasonal
Pay Rate: $1+.48/hour
Start Date: May 2026
Job Duties Include:
Making beds, changing sheets and towels
Cleaning washroom facilities including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, floors, bathroom fixtures and others as assigned
Vacuuming floors, draperies and upholstered furniture
Dusting of furniture and fixtures
Removal and sorting of linen, garbage and recycling
Placing furniture to its original position and being attentive to the guests’ belongings by pairing shoes, folding clothes and ensuring that all other personal belongings are cared for.
Qualifications
Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
Prior cleaning experience an asset
Ability to work well under pressure
Housekeeping is a very physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, high lifting and heavy pushing (up to 50lbs.)
