Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
• Cleaning and disinfecting wash basins, counter tops, toilets, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Washing and drying glass surfaces.
• Emptying and cleaning trash containers.
• Dusting furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuuming carpets and upholstery, moving furniture when required.
• Making up beds and changing linens as required.
• Replace dirty linen and used amenities in bathrooms.
• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Restocking room supplies such as glassware and coffee.
• Checking all appliances are in working order and reporting any deficiencies.
• Checking vacant rooms and reporting or performing any required touch ups.
• Assist with cleaning the public areas, washrooms and elevators when required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest requests for additional items.
• Removing room service items.
• Observe and report damage of Hotel property.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Ensure that all guest amenities are fully stocked and replenished as necessary.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Work closely with the Housekeeping Manager and other team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a housekeeping role in a hospitality setting.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
