Job Description
Room Attendant (Seasonal, July to October)
As a Room Attendant with Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest, ensuring Guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and clean.
Starting Rate of Pay: $18.82/hour CAD
Your Job Duties Include:
Clean all assigned guestrooms including: dusting, removal of linen from rooms, retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, making beds, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, window cleaning & replenish rooms with supplies adhering to Fairmont standards
Manage recycling programs in the housekeeping department, supporting sustainability initiatives
Provide turndown service and refresh rooms in the evening when required
Clean and stock linen closet at the end of the shift
Report any maintenance defects in guest rooms and surrounding areas to housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in housekeeping an asset
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
