We are seeking a skilled Rope Access Technician to join our team. As a Rope Access Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks at heights. Your primary focus will be on conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various structures while adhering to safety protocols.
Duties:
- Utilize rope access techniques to access and work at heights safely and efficiently.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on structures on buildings.
- Conduct cleaning tasks, including commercial cleaning and custodial duties, while working at heights.
- Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks effectively.
- Communicate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure job completion within specified timelines.
- Uphold high standards of customer service when interacting with clients or building occupants.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas during and after completing tasks.
- Engage in facilities maintenance activities as required, including heavy lifting and physical labor.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Rope Access Technician or in a similar role.
- Certification in rope access techniques (e.g., SPRAT or IRATA).
- Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to the job.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently at heights.
- Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
