Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. You should have a solid understanding of software development principles, along with expertise in Ruby on Rails and related technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications for our clients, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
4. Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
5. Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or identified during testing phases.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Ruby on Rails development.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
3. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
4. Proficiency in Ruby programming language and the Ruby on Rails framework.
5. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
6. Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
7. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
8. Understanding of software development methodologies and agile practices.
