ROR Developer

Job Title: Ruby on rails Experience: 7 years Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore Time Zone: IST Primary Tech Stack: ROR, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Roles and Responsibilities: SME in at least one functional module of the system or service Design and quality ownership of the service owned as the SME Say/do ratio of > +5% in execution Code reviews and quality gatekeeper for the SME area Assist and mentor junior members Responsible for enforcing code reviews and test coverage Ensure no regressions in the modules owned Serve on interview panels and help grow the organization Must Have Skills: Overall 6+ years of experience in software engineering. 5+ years’ experience with Ruby on Rails Good understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Solid experience with web services. Understanding of JavaScript dependency management and build tools. Experience with MongoDB, Postgresql, MySQL database. Comfortable in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with team collaboration and open communication Understanding of RESTful web services Work in a fast-paced, creative atmosphere to develop new ideas that adapt to evolving user needs Experience using Git / GitHub.
