Key Responsibilities
Providing mechanical repair, service, and maintenance plus electrical fault finding and programming on centrifugal compressors at customer sites UK wide.
Installing compressed air products into various forms of manufacturing industries.
Performing emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on centrifugal compressed air equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
Strong diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Field Service Engineer/Service Engineer/Installation Engineer or similar.
Ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Field service background in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in rotating equipment such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressors, Gearboxes, Diesel Engines, Centrifuges, Controls and instrumentation, Generators, Pumps, or similar.
A technical mechanical engineering degree would be advantageous.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a salary range of £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company van, company shares scheme, pension, healthcare, and additional benefits.
