Key Responsibilities : 1 Develop high-quality software applications using Ruby 2 Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code 3 Monitor and patch Ruby runtime and library vulnerabilities, ensuring that Ruby applications remain secure and up to date 4 Keep Ruby and its associated libraries up to date, ensuring that the latest features and bug fixes are available to developers 5 Collaborate with development teams to ensure that Ruby applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Technical Experience : 1 Must have Ruby on Rails skill 2 Good to have Ruby programming language and related frameworks eg, Ruby on Rails 3 Good to have Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles 4 Good to have Experience with relational databases eg PostgreSQL, MySQL 5 Good to have Familiarity with front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 6 Good to have Experience with version control systems
