Position Overview
We’re looking for an Automation Expert to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated workflows across our business and for our clients. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging technology to improve efficiency, enhance client experiences, and streamline operations. As a key player in our growing team, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, develop scalable solutions, and ensure seamless integration across our platforms and third-party partners.
What You’ll Do
• Workflow Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows using our current tech stack that includes N8N, Retool, Azure, DigitalOcean, Make, Zapier,
• Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement automation to enhance productivity and reduce manual work.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Client Success, and Product teams to understand their needs and develop tailored automation solutions.
• Integration Management: Ensure seamless integration between various tools, including Retool (no/low code), CRM platforms (Wealthbox,), communication tools (DialPad/Twilio), notetaking apps (Jump) and document automation systems (PandaDoc).
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support for automated workflows, resolve technical issues, and refine processes for continuous improvement.
• Training & Documentation: Develop clear documentation for automated processes and train internal teams on best practices for leveraging automation tools.
• Data & Reporting: Monitor performance of automation solutions, track key metrics, and provide insights for further optimization.
• AI & Innovation: Stay ahead of trends in AI and automation technologies, proactively recommending and implementing new solutions that align with business goals.
What You’ll Bring
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience: 2+ years in automation, workflow engineering, process optimization, or a related field.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in tools like N8N, DigitalOcean, Retool, Azure, Make, Zapier, Notion, and other automation platforms. Experience in these is a MUST.
• Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to assess workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable automation solutions.
• Systems Integration Experience: Experience working with APIs to connect and enhance system functionality.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and reliability in automation workflows and integrations.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to work cross-functionally and translate business needs into effective automation solutions.
• Time Management & Adaptability: Comfortable managing multiple automation projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills & Experience
• Experience with AI-driven automation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with financial services or insurance industry workflows.
• Knowledge of low-code/no-code development platforms.
• Exposure to machine learning models for predictive automation.
