Job Title: Safeguarding of Client Assets and Funds (SCAF)
Location: B angalore
Role Description
The SCAF CoE team provides a central oversight and advisory function for interpretating and implementing the MiFID II Client Assets (SCAF) rules. The SCAF CoE team is part of the Global Client Assets Group within IB & Cross Product Operations, and oversees systems and controls in place to comply with the SCAF requirements. SCAF CoE team tracks and monitors the effectiveness of controls, and for maintaining the associated governance structure.
As part of this role, you will assist with the implementation and management of a SCAF oversight framework, and enhance and embed a strong risk-management structure.
Responsibilities will include: interpreting and providing guidance on the application of SCAF regulations to products and services DB offers its clients, monitoring compliance with SCAF requirements across business and operational areas, and assisting the Client Assets Oversight officer with all aspects of SCAF risk management and governance.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop and implement efficient control processes within Operations to ensure compliance with MiFID II SCAF regulations
• Coordinate across stakeholder groups, Monthly MI, SCAF Resolution Pack, development of management information and management of governance forums
• Design, develop and implement efficient control processes within Operations to ensure/maintain compliance with MiFID II SCAF regulations
• Providing technical advice on SCAF compliance to businesses and support functions, while promoting regulatory awareness throughout the firm
Your Skills And Experience
• Experience of working in operational / regulatory functions within a financial services firm, including knowledge of front-to-back trade flows and the management of control processes
• Strong analytical & data interpretation skills, with experience of managing large datasets (including advanced Excel skills)
• Understanding of the regulatory environment, and knowledge of Client Assets regulations would be beneficial
• Strong communication and influencing skills with stakeholders
• Proven self-starter who shows attention to detail, meets deadlines and works well in a team
