We Are Hiring: Safety Officer – Fire and Safety
Location: Nagaur, Rajasthan
About the Role:
Commando Security Force is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Safety Officer with a specialisation in fire and safety management for a Cement Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations on-site. Candidates with experience in the cement construction industry are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement effective fire safety management plans, including emergency evacuation procedures.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees and contractors on hazard identification, PPE use, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor site activities to identify unsafe conditions and practices, initiating corrective actions where necessary.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports with recommendations for safety improvements.
• Collaborate with project management to enhance overall safety culture and adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fire and Safety Management or a related field. A diploma from a Technical Board Institution is also acceptable.
• Certification: NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in safety management, with a focus on fire safety in industrial environments, particularly in the cement construction sector.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard identification. Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead safety training sessions effectively.
