Main Job Duties and Responsibilities: -
PDIS with 5 years Experiences
· To ensure that Safety training and other SHEQ initiatives are implemented.
· To ensure that relevant company certifications (ISO) are obtained and maintained.
· To ensure company procedures on accident and incident reporting are maintained and developed.
· To provide advice and guidance to Site and Corporate Management.
· To analyze SHEQ performance and produce reports for Senior Management.
· To implement the SHEQ strategy and industry best practice in the site
· To participate in tool box talks.
· Circulate material received from HS&E to appropriated members of the department
· Inspect the department to ensure the workplace meets the various safety requirements.
· Ensure that monthly inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Exit Lights and Emergency Lighting, are carried out.
· Respond to reports of unsafe conditions (e.g. electrical hazards, loose stair treads, etc.) by requesting repairs or maintenance. In some circumstances, material may have to be prepared for annual submission to the Repairs and Alterations budget.
· Follow up on any deficiencies noted during inspections, and ensure that they are corrected.
· Keep the Department Head informed on all of the above.
· Maintain Departmental Safety Bulletin Board.
· Scaffold safety knowledge and countermeasures implemented
· Painting and roof sheeting safety control measures implemented
Education and Experience: -
· Minimum 5 years of work experience in the required discipline.
· B.Tech, Diploma in any branch, B.Sc Physics & Chemistry.
· Achieve tasks in a safe way and in accordance with company procedures.
· Explain and understand the hazards if any.
· Maintains regular communication and good relation with client and area owner.
· Control costs.
· Knowledgeable about H&S Manuals.
· Excellent English skills.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Job Types: Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
