Your new role

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for increasing Inland’s lubricant and bulk fuel sales, whilst providing outstanding customer service and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to travel throughout the region to visit Inland Petroleum owned sites and customers.

Ideally, you will have or will be willing to gain a broad knowledge of lubricants, oils, and bulk fuel to ensure success in your position.

You will:

Increase client base ranging from commercial clients, large agricultural customers, and mine sites.
Assist with implementation of sales and marketing strategies
Maintain a breadth of competition trends in our target areas.
Working alongside the Project and Maintenance team to provide quotes and secure sales of bulk storage tanks.
Address any Quality concerns in a timely and professional manner
Work with the Lubricant & Retail Sales Coordinator to ensure stock levels at all sites are adequate to meet demand

About you:
Sales or Marketing Qualification is desirable
Proven record in a similar sales position, with ability and drive to achieve sales targets
Strong communicator, able to build rapport and maintain strong relationships
Industry and product knowledge is advantageous
Dubbo based, with the ability to travel as required for the role
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Current Drivers licence
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners

This role requires extensive travel throughout the Central West, you will be on the road for the majority of your week meeting with existing and prospective customers. You will be passionate about the Central West region, and contributing to its future growth. You will have a wide range of autonomy and must be a self-starter, demonstrate the ability to prioritise, accept responsibility and explore and offer solutions to a wide range of challenges.
