Job Title: Sales and Business Development Executive – Environmental & Sustainable Solutions
Location: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore ,Chennai
Job Type: Full‑time | Field sales and travel‑based role
overview You will drive sales and new‑business growth for environmental and sustainable‑solution products (such as water‑saving systems, waste‑management equipment, air‑quality solutions, energy‑efficient technologies, or circular‑economy products) across industries in North India. You will build and manage a strong pipeline by prospecting, demonstrating value, and converting leads into orders while ensuring sustainable‑value messaging is central to every client conversation.Key responsibilities Prospect and generate B2B leads in North India (factories, real‑estate projects, commercial complexes, municipalities, corporates) for environmental and sustainable‑solution products. Conduct site visits and client meetings, understand operational challenges, and position the company’s product/solution portfolio as a sustainability‑linked business advantage (cost‑saving, regulatory compliance, ESG). Prepare technical‑commercial proposals, quotes, and presentations, often collaborating with technical / R&D teams to customise offerings. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and growth targets for new customers, repeat orders, and upsell/cross‑sell across North India. Maintain accurate CRM records (leads, opportunities, history, follow‑ups) and provide regular reports on pipeline, closures, and market feedback. Track industry trends, competitors, and regulations related to environment and sustainability in North India and advise the marketing/strategy team. Support tenders, RFPs, and government/private‑sector bids by coordinating technical inputs and commercial pricing. Build long‑term relationships with key accounts (facilities managers, plant heads, sustainability officers, procurement) to create reference clients and case‑study opportunities.Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Science / Environmental Science / Business, or related field. 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (preferably in environmental, construction, water, waste, energy‑efficiency, or industrial goods). Strong field‑sales aptitude: comfort with heavy travel across North India and building rapport with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Basic understanding of environmental or sustainability themes (water, waste, emissions, energy efficiency, circular economy, ESG‑linked benefits). Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel), and ability to translate technical features into clear business benefits. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of local regional languages (Punjabi, Gujarati, Haryanvi, etc.) is a plus.Preferred (nice‑to‑have) Exposure to tender processes, project‑type sales, or capital‑goods sales in environment/sustainability domain. Understanding of Indian environmental regulations or green‑building concepts (e.g., water‑saving codes, waste rules, energy‑audit norms, green building rating frameworks). Proven track record in growing a territory or contributing to regional‑level growth targets.Performance expectations (examples) Maintain a defined sales pipeline value (e.g., 3–6x monthly target) in your North India region. Convert a tracked lead‑to‑order conversion rate and meet or exceed quarterly revenue and volume targets. Act as the “sustainability‑value champion” with customers by linking product use to tangible environmental and cost outcomes (water saved, waste reduced, energy saved, compliance achieved).
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Thaltej, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
