Similar to CLT and concrete, EZblocks is a single block that can be placed precisely like a children’s building block.

We use our EZBlocks to build and design restaurant patio walls, ice rink walls, marquee letters, customer furniture/decor, booths, garden beds, landscaping and much more.

Position Summary:

The Sales and Business Development Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing an effective strategy with a focus on sales growth, strategic marketing and profitability of EZBlocks products. The Sales and Business Development Manager will drive revenue by building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering persuasive presentations to potential clients and other business accounts in order to maximize new sales and meet profit objectives. This position requires frequent interaction with corporate executives, other internal business leaders, external clients and vendors. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a track record of success selling B2B, municipal and provincial governments, as well as private-sector clients across industries such as construction, landscaping, fencing, decking, or event services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, landscaping services, fence and deck businesses, and/or event planning.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-motivated leader with excellent communication skills, a hands-on approach to operations, and the drive to build and scale a business.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales and marketing strategies that align with company goals to grow the business.
Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new B2B clients and government contracts (municipal and provincial).
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and presentations
Monitor trends in the market, identifying new opportunities and any developing issues that could impact EZBlocks to refine positioning and messaging.
Maintain P&L and cost control and make data-driven pricing decisions. Budget, forecast and produce financial reports to senior management.
Identify, research and determine new potential clients. Reach out to potential clients and conduct persuasive presentations with a strategy personalized to meet customers’ needs.
Evaluate and implement new service offerings or partnerships to expand market reach.
Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to meet goals while ensuring continuous improvement.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and responsiveness.
Handle high-level client issues and negotiate major contracts.
Serve as the face of the business with professionalism and integrity.
Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers.
Other matters related to the business, as required.
Qualifications:

Proven B2B sales experience.
At least 7 years experience managing and growing a small or entrepreneurial business.
Must have P&L and cost control expertise.
Industry background in construction, landscaping, fencing/decking, or events preferred.
Strong understanding of marketing and pricing strategies.
Comfortable with P&L management and cost control.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, adaptable, and business savvy.
Excellent communicator, active listener, and possess strong decision-making skills.
Ability to stay up to date with market trends.
Working Conditions:
