Position Summary: Radisson Hotel and Conference Centre Calgary Airport is looking for the position of Sales and Catering Manager who provides support to our sales and events team. This role is the first point of contact with customers. Must be comfortable dealing with customers in person, over the phone, and via email. This position has great growth potential for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

· Sales:

· Proactively solicit and manage group and catering opportunities.

· Identify, qualify, and solicit new business.

· Develop and implement sales plans and strategies.

· Achieve personal and team revenue goals.

· Maintain and grow existing accounts.

· Catering Operations:

· Plan, execute, and manage catering events from start to finish.

· Manage the catering team, including hiring, training, and scheduling.

· Supervise food and beverage staff to ensure quality and service standards.

· Develop and implement catering menus and pricing.

· Client Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

· Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly.

· Ensure client satisfaction throughout the event process.

Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 3 to 4 years of sales experience preferably in hospitality.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations and catering procedures.
Experience in hotel sales and catering, preferably in a similar role.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
