Are you an experienced retail sales and digital marketing professional eager to oversee the seamless operation of a thriving home furniture business? Indigo Traders is opening a new store in Whangarei, and we are searching for a dynamic individual who excels in customer service, sales, and digital marketing who will be based in Whangarei – New Zealand.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in digital marketing and sales, with a proven ability to drive successful campaigns across multiple platforms. This role requires expertise in e-commerce, B2B, lead generation, and branding strategies, along with excellent communication skills to foster strong engagement with customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to strengthen Indigo Traders' brand and drive sales.
Oversee marketing campaigns for home furniture products and services across New Zealand.
Manage SEO, social media, email campaigns, and marketing automation.
Create and repurpose engaging content—blogs, emails, ads, videos—to enhance product visibility.
Analyse campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for optimisation.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure campaign effectiveness.
Retail & Store Operations
Deliver exceptional in store customer service by assisting customers with their home furnishing needs.
Follow up on inquiries, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships with customers.
Maintain accurate inventory and ensure smooth stock management within the store.
Oversee the visual presentation and cleanliness of the store to create an inviting shopping environment.
Engage with customers and create a positive home furnishing experience.
Qualifications & Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
A minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing, specialising in e-commerce, B2B, lead generation, and branding campaigns.
Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs and drive measurable results.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital tools.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and refining marketing strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for seamless collaboration and client engagement.
A creative and innovative approach to marketing, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
