The Eclection group believe every part of the guest experience needs to be by design, whether that be the use of the space or the detailing of the food and drink offer. Currently operating 3 venues in London and 3 venues in Bath, it is in the process of acquiring a new nightclub based in Holborn and a wine bar in the City of London.
#### **Job Overview:**
We are seeking a charismatic and professional Event Sales Manager to oversee the opening and ongoing operations of our new nightclub in Holborn and a wine bar in the City of London. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to connect with the local community, utilising data, and event platforms to maximize the promotion of our venues. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events to ensure they run smoothly and meet the highest expectations of our guests. This role also involves leading and coaching our reservations team to deliver exceptional service.
#### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Event Planning & Coordination:** Collaborate with General Managers to plan and organize events that align with our brand's high standards.
- **Sales & Networking:** Build and maintain a strong network within the local business community to maximise sales opportunities.
- **Client Relationships:** Cultivate relationships with new, existing, and regular guests, ensuring a continuous flow of new clientele.
- **Proactive Sales Approach:** Implement strategies to drive sales through private bookings and events, ensuring the venues are consistently busy.
- **Marketing & social media:** Promote the venues through various social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, to reach a broader audience.
- **Booking System Management:** Oversee the inbound sales and booking system, ensuring it is used effectively to maximise sales.
- **Market Trends & Networking:** Regularly attend industry networking events to stay informed about market trends and to promote our venues.
#### **Required Qualifications & Experience:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry and managing more than 1 venue.
- **Team Management:** Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
- **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Organisational Skills:** Strong attention to detail, highly organised, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Proactive Mindset:** Self-starter with the ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and take initiative. The role requires a can-do attitude and while you will be working with the head office reservation team, you will need to be self-sufficient and independently minded.
