POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated and energetic Sales and Marketing Executive with 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the shipping and logistics industry. The ideal candidate must have non-negotiable experience in NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight forwarding, CHA (Customs House Agent), and ISO tank sales. This role involves supporting the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth and enhance our market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sales and Client Acquisition:
Support the sales team in executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
Assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within NVOCC, freight forwarding, CHA, and ISO tank sales sectors.
Help in building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders in these segments.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends.
• Marketing Support:
Assist in developing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote our NVOCC, freight forwarding, CHA, and ISO tank services.
Manage basic digital marketing efforts including social media posts, email campaigns, and website updates.
Create basic marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and presentations.
Support the organization and participation in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
• Client Relationship Management:
Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
Assist in handling client inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints.
Provide clients with updates on new services and industry developments.
• Sales Reporting:
Assist in monitoring and reporting on sales performance against targets.
Help analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare basic reports for management.
• Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Coordinate with the finance department for basic pricing and invoicing matters.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales and marketing strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing within the shipping and logistics industry.
• Non-negotiable: Proven experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, CHA, and ISO tank sales.
• Basic understanding of market dynamics and customer requirements in these specific segments.
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
