Position Overview:
Mectronics, a leading company headquartered in Delhi, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Gurgaon - Manesar office. The Sales Engineer will play a vital role in driving sales within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector, focusing on equipment sales. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 5 years of experience in equipment sales targeted at EMS companies and possess a deep understanding of electronics manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
• Identify and target potential clients in the respective region for Mectronics' range of electronic equipment and solutions, specifically within the EMS sector.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential EMS clients, comprehending their unique needs and offering tailored solutions.
• Conduct effective product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions to highlight the capabilities and benefits of our equipment.
• Collaborate closely with technical and product teams to ensure a thorough understanding of our equipment and their applications, facilitating effective communication with clients.
• Develop persuasive sales proposals, quotations, and lead contract negotiations, considering client requirements and budget constraints.
• Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide insights for refining and optimizing our sales strategies.
• Collaborate with the sales team to formulate and execute comprehensive sales plans, strategies, and initiatives.
• Represent Mectronics at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to bolster the company's presence in the local EMS market / electronics manufactiuring facility.
• Provide regular and informative sales reports and updates to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in equipment sales, specifically within the EMS sector.
• Strong technical acumen to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven self-motivation and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales software.
• Willingness to travel within the teritorry assigned to meet clients and attend industry events.
