Job Title :
Assistant Manager – Purchase/ Executive - Purchase
Job Mandate:
Responsible for efficient buying, negotiation &management of Electrical & Electronics Category (including but not limited to Electrical Accessories & AC, DC & Stepper Motors Categories) Packaging material & Consumables
Key Responsibilities :
1. Cost Analysis & Cost Reduction in Electrical Accessories, Power Supply and AC, DC & Stepper Motors, Packaging Materials & Consumables.
2. Drawing procurement plan based on Production Plan, identifying, evaluating, and selecting a reliable Vendor for procurement.
3. Analysing & finalising the commercial terms like price, delivery, payment term
4. Managing Categories like motors based on FOREX Movement & Commodity Movement
5. Tracking and maintaining delivery schedules and ensuring availability of material to meet Production Plan.
6. Technical understanding of the requirement, supplier negotiation & preparation of Techno-commercial evaluation, negotiation with a supplier. Benchmarking commercials with industry standards and previous buys through in-depth analysis
7. Facilitating smooth order execution & handling the entire business cycle from the invitation of quotation to commercial supplies
Educational Qualifications:
B Com/Diploma- Electrical / Mechanical
Years of Experience: 5 - 10 years
Nature and scope of responsibilities the candidate should have handled.
Strong exposure to Electrical, Electronics, Packaging materials & Consumables buying.
Knowledge & Skills:
Costing knowledge in Electrical,Electronics& Packaging Material, Negotiation, Sourcing, and Contracts
