Overview:
Reports to CEO and Executive Chairman provides a range of support to the operations at UP Vertical Farms. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Marketing Supervisor to join our team. This dual-role position requires a combination of sales skills and the ability to do marketing for the company and promote the brand. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day Sales side functions and should have have a strong background in digital marketing, e-commerce, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Developing, managing, planning, implementing, overseeing, and supporting all unit activities related to the Sales and Marketing Department.
Developing content and documentation for the business and archiving all documents electronically.
Planning, tracking, and purchasing various marketing supplies
Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
Assist in budget preparation and expense control
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively.
Improve sales by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner and working with our sales and marketing partner.
Coordinating events and conferences.
Managing calendars and scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Maintaining and organizing company records, files, and documents.
Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Working closely with other departments, such as product finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
Analyzing sales data and preparing reports to inform decision-making.
Creating and managing the company’s digital presence (website, social media accounts, etc.)

Monitor new industry trends and competitor activities.
Develop the company’s merchandising, and market and promote products at various events and locations.
Organizing and coordinating marketing events, such as trade shows, product launches, and promotional events.
Supporting sales initiatives with marketing activities and materials.
Ensuring all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Staying updated on industry standards and ethical practices.
Experience:
- 1-2 years' experience in a Sales role and Marketing is preferred.
- BC Residents only.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content creation.
-Excellent communication skills, strong command of the English language
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment-Valid BC Driver’s license; use of personal vehicle for office purpose may be required
- Proficiency in utilizing databases for tracking grants and other information
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HTML5, and
SEO
- Strong experience with e-commerce platforms and email marketing campaigns
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer behavior
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
