Job Responsiblities
Financial Responsibilities
Responsible for acquiring new customers through multiple channels – campaigns (in the vicinity), branch walk –ins, referrals from existing customers , through industry bodies and associations and through running industry
Acquisition of CASA & liabilities a/c from cold calling, market reference, cross sell and selling of third party products (life & health insurance, Mutual funds SIPs)
Non Financial Responsibilities
Accept retail and/or commercial deposits, loan payments, process checking and CASA account withdrawals
Maintain an adequate cash drawer at all times; this includes buying and selling currency from the vault as necessary
Services
Balance cash drawer in accordance with Bank procedures and regulations including periodic batching of cashed checks
Reconcile cash drawer by tally cash transactions and Counting and packaging currency and coins , Turning in excess cash and mutilated currency to head teller etc
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the work flow.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Answer customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper service area for issues that cannot be resolved at the teller line.
Operation
May be responsible for bank opening and/or closing.
Comply with bank operations and security procedures by participating in all dual-control functions.
Custmer Management
Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, potential customers and co-workers.,
Maintaining customer traffic surveys and guiding for Digital Banking
Compliance & Risk Responsiblities
Understanding of KYC,AML guidelines and Comply with all Bank policies, procedures and regulations and other duties as assigned.
Auditing tellers' currency and ensure adherence to internal and external guidelines
Key Responsibility
Responsible for customer service by meeting immediate requirements at the front end including disbursal and management of cash, processing of demand drafts, cheque deposits, handling and resolution of customer queries.
Cross-sell bank products by answering inquiries, Informing customers of new services and product promotions, Ascertaining customers' needs, Directing customers to a branch representative.
