Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries in a courteous manner
Provide detailed information about products and services to help customers make informed purchasing decisions
Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure the sales floor is attractive and organised
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including handling cash, card payments, and refunds
Restock shelves and organise stock to ensure availability of products at all times
Support in stock management, including receiving deliveries and organising stockroom areas
Assist with promotional activities and special events to maximise sales opportunities
Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary
Keep the sales area clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times
Requirements
Previous experience in retail or customer service is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends if necessary
A positive attitude with a keen interest in sales and customer satisfaction
