Job Description
Stahllform is keen to hire Sales & Business Development Engineer at Chennai, Hyderabad, Coimbatore and Bangalore. The incumbent will be responsible for opportunity pipeline, new business development, order booking, sales, customer relationship management and payment collection.
More specifically, the responsibilities will cover the following:
Business plan (short, medium & long term)
• Determining customer/market/product-wise sales targets
• New market/New customer/New Product identification & development
• Market intelligence (customer, product, competition, etc.) & analysis (SWOT, risk, etc.)
• Budget planning
• Identifying target markets, contractors, consultants and end-users
• Determining price positioning
• Providing feedback to design, manufacturing and quality functions
Sales
• Lead generation
• Quotation
• Customer approval process
• Order procurement
• Collection
Marketing & communication
• Managing channels of communication (website, social media, ads, etc.)
• Participating in industry events (conferences, trade/industry shows, etc.)
• Presentation (to clients, at seminars, etc.)
• Creating awareness on social/environmental initiatives
Customer relationship management
• Customer profiling
• Developing & executing a customer engagement plan
• Complaint resolution
• Customer feedback & action
• Customer satisfaction & retention
Qualifications
Key Competencies: Communication, Analytical skills, Negotiation skills, Learning agility, Result orientation, Crisis management, Team player
Professional Experience
• Industrial B2B sales experience of 5 years
• Experience in electrical switchgear / panel industry is desirable
• Strong connect with project consultants, contractors and end-users
• Ability to work across all levels in an organization
• Ability to build a business from the drawing board
Education
Engineering Graduate, preferably in Electrical and Electronics stream, from a reputed institution
