Job Description
Onguard Security provides Armed and Unarmed Security Guard and Patrol Services throughout Southern California. We are actively recruiting to fill a position on our Inside Sales Team with an experienced Sales Representative / Business Development Representative. This position is based in our Canoga Park office.
You will be working directly with our telemarketing team, attending appointments they set and helping close deals with prospective clients. We are seeking a professional, motivated, and results-driven individual to help grow our client base and promote our services.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our software offerings.
Utilize Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for penetrating new markets.
Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Experience / Qualifications:
2+ years of service sales experience (security or B2B preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Skilled in relationship-building, negotiation, and closing
Excellent time management and follow-up skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
Job Duties:
Work with telemarketing team to attend scheduled sales meetings
Cold call and follow up with leads from multiple sources
Identify key decision-makers and present Onguard’s services
Travel to client meetings throughout Southern California
Assist in preparing RFPs and proposals for potential clients
Maintain and update CRM system with leads and activity
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
Collaborate with company leadership to close deals and meet goals
Education:
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
