As we expand, we are looking for a Sales Consultant who can identify, engage, and convert potential clients into long-term partners.
Job Overview
We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Consultant with experience in selling market research services to B2B clients. The ideal candidate understands how to position research capabilities (like panel reach, targeting, feasibility, turnaround, and pricing) to clients such as research agencies, consultancies, and direct brands.
You will be responsible for prospecting new business, understanding client needs, pitching relevant research offerings, and closing deals that contribute to the company's growth in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and reach out to potential clients (research agencies, consulting firms, healthcare researchers, direct brands, etc.)
• Pitch online survey services, B2B and healthcare recruitment, and custom research solutions based on client requirements
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers in market research, insights, and procurement teams
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
• Understand project feasibility and coordinate with internal operations team before quoting
• Manage the complete sales cycle — from lead generation to deal closure
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, proposals, and closed deals in CRM
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs
• Represent Research Connect in client calls, events, and industry forums
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
• 2+ years of sales experience in market research, panel sales, online surveys, or B2B research services
• Strong understanding of quantitative research methodologies and panel operations
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle international clients and manage multiple accounts
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a consultative selling approach
• Bonus: Knowledge of healthcare research, feasibility estimation, or IR/LOI metrics
