Participates in the development of the Hotel's sales and marketingstrategies
Develops andimplements strategies for achieving individual sales goals
Participatesin presentations, trade shows and entertainment as required.
Achieveindividual and team goals within assigned market segment
Developsdata and recommends programs to meet client needs
Preparesproposals with the Director of Sales and Marketing that are geared to maximiseprofit while satisfying client needs
Solicitsfiles on a timely basis to confirm business
Uses outsidesales calls to solicit existing and new clients
Contactsin-house customers to foster additional business, repeat bookings or referralsto other Brand Hotels
Reviewsindividual goals on a quarterly basis; recommends and takes appropriate actionsto achieve objectives in key result areas
Maintains proper flow of information within the Hotel by reviewing saleswork files of assigned accounts
Communicatesclient requests to all departments in an effective and timely manner
Ensuresmaximum occupancy on a daily basis by performing follow-ups on progress ofgroups booked with Front Office
Assists inthe completion of monthly booking report
Prepares reportsas necessary to improve management decision making and critical evaluation ofwork activities
Creates100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can experience throughperformance that demonstrates the standards of, genuine hospitality and exceedingguest expectations
Givespersonal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork whenproviding guest service

Minimisesafety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures.
Refrain frompersonal conversations with other employees at the main entrance.
Keepsimmediate manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusualmatters of significance.
Performs allduties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance withestablished company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectivesof this position.
Maintains afavourable working relationship with all other company employees to foster andpromote co-operative and harmonious working climate.
