Sales Development Representative SDR - Outbound & Inbound

Location: Mumbai, Nariman Point (Hybrid)

Reports To: Head of Sales

Experience: 2–4 years in B2B SaaS sales, lead generation, or ESG/compliance-related industries

Passion For: ESG, with a strong commercial understanding of the ESG solutions landscape and its business impact.

Role Overview

The SDR is a key driver of GovEVA’s growth, responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value prospects. This role goes beyond traditional sales—SDRs at GovEVA act as strategic advisors, influencing ESG-driven business transformation. Success demands consultative engagement, deep ESG expertise, and the ability to communicate complex value propositions to key decision-makers with confidence and clarity.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting (Outbound SDRs)
• Identify and engage key accounts in BFSI, Manufacturing, IT, Pharma, and ESG-focused enterprises, ensuring high-value conversations.
• Leverage ESG regulations, industry trends, and market triggers to craft hyper-personalized outreach strategies.
• Utilize a multi-channel approach (LinkedIn, calls, email) to drive meaningful engagements with senior stakeholders and position GovEVA as a thought leader.
• Optimize outbound efforts using Salesforce/HubSpot, Apollo.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ensuring data-driven targeting.
• Build long-term executive relationships, guiding stakeholders toward ESG compliance and governance transformation.
2. MQL Qualification & Lead Nurturing (Inbound SDRs)
• Engage high-intent inbound leads (webinars, reports, ESG events) with immediate and personalized follow-ups.
• Utilize strategic qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDIC, SPICED) to assess fit, readiness, and urgency.
• Collaborate with marketing and demand generation teams to refine messaging and optimize lead conversion rates.
• Provide decision-makers with ESG insights tailored to their governance and compliance challenges, positioning GovEVA as their go-to partner.
3. Sales Enablement & Pipeline Management
• Own the top-of-funnel pipeline, ensuring seamless lead progression to Account Executives (AEs).
• Maintain CRM accuracy, tracking engagement patterns and optimizing outreach based on insights.
• Share competitive intelligence, market trends, and executive feedback to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Contribute to revenue forecasting, pipeline acceleration strategies, and market penetration initiatives.

• HubSpot: Managing pipeline, tracking interactions, and optimizing engagement.
• LinkedIn Sales Navigator: Precision targeting and automation for scalable outreach.

• Collaboration: Works cross-functionally with AEs, marketing, and ESG consultants to maximize impact.

• Research and engage 50-100 high-value accounts.

• Initiate 10+ LinkedIn interactions with senior decision-makers.
• Respond to 30+ inbound leads with rapid, insightful follow-up.
• Host 5-10 discovery calls daily.
• Secure 15+ executive-level meetings per month.

• 15-20 highly qualified meetings per month.
