WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales to lead our sales department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising sales and a passion for mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team. This role will be responsible for driving sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and fostering client relationships.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Team Leadership & Motivation:

Foster a high-performance culture by providing coaching, motivation, and feedback.
Design and implement training programs to enhance the sales team's skills and knowledge
Assess the team's strengths and areas for improvement, and provide ongoing coaching to help team members grow and succeed.
Help with hiring new team members or pivoting existing team members to meet changing needs.
Participate actively in the hiring process to ensure the team has the right talent.
Sales Process Optimization & Coaching:

Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring efficiency and high conversion rates
Listen in on sales calls, step in when necessary to provide real-time coaching, and even get involved directly in closing deals if needed
Act as a "player-coach," providing hands-on support to ensure sales reps are on track to meet their goals
Evaluate leads and sales in the pipeline, scoring and categorizing them to ensure optimal prioritization and engagement.
Performance Analysis & Data-Driven Insights:

Regularly analyze sales metrics, performance data, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities
Score leads and assess pipeline health, focusing team efforts on the top 30 prospects that offer the highest potential
Determine effort levels needed to optimize sales efforts and prioritize the best opportunities
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the sales pipeline is consistently filled and that the team understands what roles are needed based on pipeline trends.
Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing tailored advertising solutions
Work closely with the account management team to ensure client satisfaction and long-term retention
Be proactive in identifying new business opportunities within existing client relationship
Lead Management & Strategy:

Ensure the sales team is equipped to capitalize on incoming leads, focusing efforts on closing warm leads while also strategically managing cold outreach efforts
Oversee both warm and cold leads, ensuring the team has the tools and support to effectively convert them into sales
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

7+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in digital advertising or a related field.
Experience managing, developing, and leading high-performing sales teams
Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and customer needs in digital advertising
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to mentor and guide team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and team members
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales analytics tools
Comfortable using data and analytics to inform decisions and drive strategy
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
A focus on achieving measurable results, driven by performance data and strategic insights
A proactive approach to scaling the team and optimizing resources to meet increasing sales demands
An ability to assess and prioritize the best sales leads to maximize team performance

OTE: $150K-$250K - we have beeb able to grow the company on our own with no sales director so we know what we are capable of, we need to see actual growth and have all the tools to hit $10M
