Job Description
Major Responsibilities
• Leads by example to maximize sales revenue and meet established business targets
• Identify, target and convert prospect accounts and new business with dentists, surgeons and implantologists
• Initially establish, then service existing accounts, acquire new accounts, and contribute to the continued growth of the business
• Manage an assigned geographic sales area to maximize sales revenue and meet the corporate sales objectives
• Complete territory business plans, sales forecasts and administer customer report management
• Provide excellent in person attention and develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to facilitate future clinical education
• Support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives
• Train and mentor new Territory Representatives as asked/assigned, promoting the Megagen brand in a professional manner
• Participate in regional and national trade shows
• Attend Regional and National sales and training meetings
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years dental device and dental implant industry sales experience
• 5+ years sales management experience in medical device and implant sales
• Experience directing and leading full line sales teams: sales reps, clinical support reps, sales reporting, etc.
• Established key customer relationships
• Expertise in sales forecasting, strategy, sales structure
• Successfully created and implemented sales programs resulting in significant sale increases
• Demonstrated ability to overachieve sales plans
• Experience with the implementation of management systems to forecast sales and manage performance throughout the organization
• Exceptional Sales Leadership skills
• Sees beyond the present to plan for strategic growth
• Demonstrated ability to develop a team that effectively achieves financial and non-financial objectives
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead and manage a diverse sales team
• Talent management leadership skills and proven execution. Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performing sales team
• Ability to forecast sales effectively and within corporate ranges across product lines on a monthly, quarterly basis
• Ability to expand sales force and scale to a larger footprint in rapid time frames
• Demonstrated experience in sales training and in the execution of large scale, block-buster product launches
• Ability to manage a multi-product, multi-region sales network
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key customers Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Develops people and builds teams and organizations to achieve business objectives
• Dental device or dental implant industry experience strongly preferred, but not required
