Job Description
What we’re looking for: Are you passionate about enabling sales teams to perform at their best? We’re looking for a Sales Enablement Specialist to join our global Sales Centre of Excellence. This is a critical role focused on lifting the effectiveness and efficiency of our B2B sales teams across New Zealand, Australia, and North America.
This role is suited to someone with strong experience in B2B SaaS sales enablement, sales operations, or full‑cycle sales, who enjoys partnering with leaders, diagnosing performance gaps, and delivering practical, measurable improvements.
About the role: As EROAD continues to grow globally, this role plays a key part in helping our sales teams succeed. Unlike a traditional training role, the Sales Enablement Specialist focuses on performance improvement — reducing ramp time, improving win rates, and driving consistent adoption of sales tools and methodologies.
Based in our Auckland headquarters, the role has a global remit and works closely with regional leaders and front‑line managers to support sellers across Enterprise, Mid‑Market, and SMB segments.
Join us in an exciting role where you can directly influence sales performance and help our teams sell smarter, faster, and more consistently.
As a Sales Enablement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Onboarding & ramp acceleration
Owning end‑to‑end onboarding for new sales hires globally
Designing practical bootcamps focused on real‑world application
Reducing time‑to‑first‑deal and time‑to‑full productivity
Curriculum design & delivery
Developing and delivering training aligned to EROAD’s Sales Competency Framework
Supporting prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, and account management capability
Creating distinct learning paths for high‑velocity SMB and strategic Enterprise sales motions
Sales content & playbooks
Building and maintaining battle cards, case studies, email templates, and sales plays
Translating product and technical updates into sales‑ready value propositions
Sales technology adoption
Driving effective use of CRM and sales engagement platforms
Analysing call and pipeline data to identify skill gaps and inform coaching programs
Field partnership & coaching
Partnering with regional leaders through QBRs, business reviews, and forecast calls
Enabling front‑line managers to reinforce skills through effective coaching
Occasional flexibility is required to support global time zones, with some travel to Australia and North America (less than 20%).
Skills and experience. You’ll bring:
3–5+ years’ experience in SaaS B2B Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, or a full‑cycle sales role (closing experience preferred)
Strong understanding of both SMB and Enterprise sales motions
Experience with sales methodologies such as Value Selling, Sandler, or MEDDPICC
Confidence using modern sales technology stacks (e.g. Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Chorus, Highspot, Clari)
A data‑driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills
A practical, empathetic approach to supporting sales teams under pressure
Experience in the fleet or transportation industry is an advantage, but not essential.
Why you’ll love working at EROAD: EROAD is a true Kiwi success story in the tech sector. Publicly listed since 2012, we’re represented on the NZX and ASX and continue to grow across New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, and the USA.
We’re proud to be a diverse and multicultural organisation that invests in its people. Our benefits include funded medical insurance, access to sick leave from day one, employee recognition programs, EAP support, and more. We foster connection and belonging through collaborative and community‑focused initiatives. In our Albany office, we offer free on‑site parking, easy access to public transport, and flexible working.
Join EROAD and be part of an organisation in growth mode. Your expertise will have a real impact on how our sales teams perform and how we scale globally. We’re going places — and we’d love you to come with us. We can’t wait to hear from you.
