Responsibilities/Qualifications

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Sales Engineer to support the sales and implementation of NG911 call handling, ECaTS (Emergency Call Tracking System), and TXT2911 solutions. Our offerings empower public safety agencies and PSAPs to operate more efficiently by transforming complex 9-1-1, NG9-1-1, and text-to-9-1-1 data into actionable insights.


In this role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success teams to demonstrate the value of our analytics and communication platforms, align solutions with customer needs, and ensure seamless technical integration across NG911, ECaTS, and TXT2911 environments.


Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary technical advisor in the sales process, supporting account executives during discovery, demos, proposals, and RFP responses specifically for NG911 call handling, ECaTS, and TXT2911 solutions
Conduct customized product demonstrations highlighting how our solutions convert raw 9-1-1, NG9-1-1, and TXT2911 call and message data into operational intelligence
Understand the unique operational, reporting, and messaging needs of PSAPs and state/local agencies, recommending tailored analytics and communication solutions
Translate technical product features including NG911 call handling and text-to-911 capabilities into clear business benefits for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Support onboarding and integration processes for new customers by collaborating with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth deployment of NG911, ECaTS, and TXT2911 systems
Act as a liaison between customers and product teams to convey feedback and help prioritize enhancements for all supported solutions
Assist in developing documentation, white papers, and use cases that support the sales process and customer education about NG911 call handling, ECaTS, and TXT2911
Stay up to date on trends in NG9-1-1, TXT2911, call handling systems, and public safety data reporting standards

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Consultant role, preferably in public safety, telecom, SaaS, or emergency communication technology
Working knowledge of 9-1-1/NG9-1-1 systems, TXT2911 protocols, PSAP operations, or related emergency communication systems strongly preferred
Strong understanding of data analytics, dashboards, reporting tools, and text-to-911 messaging platforms
Proven ability to lead product demonstrations and simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs and public sector procurement processes is a plus
Willingness to travel occasionally to support customer meetings, conferences, or trade shows
Ability to travel, as needed, to customer site visits, events, and internal meetings
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, engineering, or related field required
Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

The starting salary is anticipated between $90,000 and $96,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for commissions.
