• Create and implement an effective sales strategy that makes sure you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company.
• Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, provide solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned region.
• Able to creatively attract new business independently in a defined geography.
• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers based within an assigned sales territory.
• Coordinate with other members of the sales team as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
• Submit reports on your sales activity regularly and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
• Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.
• Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
• Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
• Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training workshops, and industry events as requested.
• Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
• Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers.
Requirements
• Candidate should have minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in either Chemical engineering or done course in coatings, inks and polymers.
• 5+ years' experience in paint formulations and related troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of coating industry (PU Dispersions, industrial coatings, selling TPA, polyols).
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented
