Overview:
This role is part of The Cogent sales Team- for the position of Sales Executive. We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team. The Sales Executive will drive new business opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients in the digital marketing industry. The ideal candidate understands digital marketing concepts and has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
• Generate new leads and identify potential clients in the digital marketing industry through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.
• Research to understand the needs and requirements of prospective clients and tailor solutions that align with their business goals.
• Present and demonstrate the company's digital marketing services to clients, highlighting the value proposition and competitive advantages.
• Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, effectively articulating the benefits of partnering with our agency.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling sales materials, including presentations, case studies, and product/service descriptions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Stay current with industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and competitor activities to position the company's services effectively and maintain a competitive edge.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management, providing insights into market trends, client feedback, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in sales, preferably in the digital marketing industry or related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and solutions to clients.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, focusing on customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and exceed expectations.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure new business.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and generate reports.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working in a digital marketing agency or similar environment is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events, as required.
