It is an international logistics company registered with the Director General of Shipping (Govt of India) and the Federal Maritime Commission (USA). They've shipped 50,000+ containers globally, serving 450+ customers.
Location (Vacancies in two offices):
Andheri East, Mumbai
Ahmedabad, Gujarat
6 days working- Half days on Saturdays
Requirements:
• Minimum Graduation/PGDM
• Minimum 1.5 years experience in sales of either logistics or e-commerce products
• B2B sales experience preferably selling logistics / E-Commerce products
• Knowledge & understanding of international freight and operation- import market (AIR/LCL/FCL)
Basic Role:
Responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts to offer the company’s solutions for freight & clearing services Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Responsible for sales growth in the region and focus sector for the company.
• Map the market and maintain a market intelligence of customers in the region.
• Develop a prioritized target customer list and focus sales efforts to penetrate and grow the target customers.
• Develop and execute a sales plan to take standardized solutions to target customer
• Drive conversations with accounts to identify unmet customer logistics needs, beyond stated needs and identify the relevant solution(s) that can deliver value to the client.
• Support the Solution Architect in developing customized solutions for complicated logistics needs.
• Build strong client relationships by ensuring adequate customer-stakeholder interactions across the customer hierarchy.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction through good delivery governance by closely working with delivery teams.
