Sales Executive

Lal Gulab is seeking a Sales Executive who can execute our Retail expansion into General Trade, Modern Trade, and Quick Commerce channels and develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies and enhance sales capability for the allocated zone in order to maximize revenue and market share as per the organization’s sales strategy. The ideal candidate will share our company values of honesty, transparency, and commitment to customer satisfaction — and be able to broadcast these values to the world.

The candidate will be responsible for driving the initial launch in the Bhopal region and adjoining districts.

Objectives of this role:

• Setting up primary & secondary distribution networks for the products.

• Responsible for achieving market leadership for the overall Packaged Food business for Mustard Oil, Flours, and Staples in the Bhopal division.

• Owning and hitting/ exceeding annual sales targets.

• Cultivate relationships with prospective customers and maintain strong relationships with current clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets.

• Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Responsible for the preparation of a concise and informative audit report to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations to the branch/department and senior management.

• Work closely with the marketing and other cross-functional teams to establish successful support, channel, and partner programs.

We are ONLY looking for candidates with:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, economics, and related field with a minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in Retail Sales in the FMCG/Food industry in Madhya Pradesh.

• Experience with a Packaged Food Brand in employment history will be a plus.

• Currently, a Sales Executive / Territory Sales Executive in a reputed FMCG brand, handling a key City or region.

• Experience in having launched a new brand / sub-brand and built out distribution and revenue.

• Prior experience in mentoring, managing, and influencing executives, merchandisers, promoters, etc.

• Good experience in monitoring store-wise sales and executing customer activations events at the store level.

• Proven sales experience with a track record of achieving targets

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of commercial and office software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to work independently while contributing to team efforts.

• Problem-solving abilities with a strong bias for impact.

• Ability to travel at least 80% of the time
