We are a family run retail business specializing in the Racket Sports Industry. We have 3 showroom locations.
We need a dynamic, customer obsessed closer to help manage growth in our main showroom located in Colombo 03.
Established in 1990, United Sports is a Premier Supplier of Sports Goods, specializing and providing a comprehensive service for the Racket Sports industry in Sri Lanka.
We are Sole Agents and Authorized Distributors for several Leading International Sports Brands in Sri Lanka, including Wilson Sporting Goods, Yonex, Gosen, Mizuno, Ashaway, Karakal, Protech, RSL, Yang Yang & Mikasa.
Responsibilities & Duties;
•Greet customers when they enter store.
•Work with customers to choose products based on their requirements
•Enter orders in system and work with Managers, Vendors and Delivery
•Dispatch to assure customer purchase is looked after from start to finish
•Address customer issues, by working with our customer service team to develop solutions
•Keep your customer informed at all levels of the purchase process.
•Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
•Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
•Maintain a fully stocked store at all times.
•Recommend and display items that match customer needs
•Manage point-of-sale processes
•Actively involve in the receiving of new shipments
•Keep up to date with product information
•Accurately describe product features and benefits
•Follow all companies' policies and procedures
Requirements
•Proven working experience in retail sales
•Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
•Solid communication and interpersonal skills
•Customer service focus
•Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
•Basic administration skills
•Minimum GCE O/L Qualification with a Pass in Mathematics
•Should be pleasant and outgoing with the ability to speak English plus Sinhala or Tamil.
•Must be able to lift 15kg.
